BeaTles & Piano Matt!

Well, I have gotten a request from a friend
up in Richland. Well to save the story and
about 50,000 words, she really loves the
BeaTles. Who doesn't??? So, to save all
that, I have decided that in her honor
I shall dedicate my next Piano Matt!
theme, "The Beatles".
I have searched through every single
song book I have, flown papers, and papers
of seperated sheet music in the air, and I have
managed to scavage quite a few of the groups
hits. Oh, I almost forgot! To the right is
a picture of The Beatles (and me).
I think I make a GREAT addition to the
group, don't you? Yeah. I think so too.
Well, I am gonna go work on some
vids of the Beatles and their AWESOME music!
Piano Matt! (BeaTles Rule!)

POKERFACE!!!! (Piano Matt! Style)

Well, there are 3 hours left! Yes, it still has a chance to lose, but I am pretty sure
that this is it, so I have decided that I could wait no longer!
I am now feeding my camera into my computer...
The song?? POKERFACE!!!!!!
Here it is!

Piano Matt! does a tribute to Bach

Well, we already went over the fact that Bach is a pretty cool guy; given
hes now deceased, but hey, that makes him pretty quiet and chilled, right?
Yeah, well I decided that since I started the topic, I might as well
give you something of his.
Thus I have recorded a video of me playing Brandenburg Concerto No. 5,
one of Bachs more well-known pieces.
Thanks!
Piano Matt

Bach is Cool, dude!

Come on, man!

Don't lie, don't sit down, don't do this or that!

But what you do do, is you respect Johann Sebastian Bach!

Yaa!

Hes a pretty cool, chilled dude from a few years back.

Yes. Yes.
Well I dunno about you,
but this dude is going to be BACH in a minute!
HaHaHaHaHaHa.
Ya man!
So, take some time and look at one of the
fathers of Classical Music, J.S. is in da house! BOO YA!
Peace!

Piano Matt! & "UNDER THE SEA"

It is MARVELOUS! IT IS BRILLIANT! IT IS...IT IS...IT IS...UNDER THE SEA!! HAHAHAHA! PIANO MATT OUT!

Piano Matt! is recording UNDER THE SEA!

UNDER THE SEA!! UNDER THE SEA!!
Well it appears >> Sebastian is having a grand old time with his
maracas and well, I was jealous, yes, jealous. He was having
the party life and I wasn't, so I have given him a wake up call
of how much better the land is, and I have recorded my very own,
"Under The Sea". I planned to do a bell solo at the beginning, but
I lost my mallets, so instead, I put the Marimba on my
keyboard settings.
So, Sebastian, I think we know that Under The Sea is not
better! HA!
Please Enjoy, "Under The Sea"....

finale SONGWRITER 2010 is HERE!!!!

In the past, people have requested that
I write/compose music. After weeks of waiting anxiously by my mailbox,
I have finally recieved my new 2010 finale SongWriter that
is a professional software that allows me to use any number
of instruments, voices, ect. to create and print sheet music.
I can hook up my keyboard right to the computer, and it makes the music as I play it, WOW!
On top of all this cool stuff, it also allows for me to download my music I create onto
itunes, for my ipod or onto some cds.
WOW! WOW! WOW!
This is PRETTY cool.
Any comments, questions, concerns, whatever you can email me, mdbarndt@aol.com
or txt me, 814-289-3851.
Oh, and I will do my best to make sheet music for you if you request it.
Any instrument sheet-music is availabe as I said.
Well, I am off to have fun with this, SEE YA!

Snow Day Blues (BLUE MOON)

It is VERY cold out today and I have no intentions of stepping outside of my music room. I am sitting here with a bag of Salted Peanuts, a glass of hot tea and my cell phone.
Here is Blue Moon. A much older song than typical oldies, but still amazing and fun.

Piano Matt! to do WE ARE THE WORLD!

Very recently, for the opening of the Vancouver '10 Winter Olympics, a remake of the
original song was made in hopes to raise money and awarness for Haiti and for the world.
Well, after searching through uncountable amounts of sheet music in my boxes and piles
scattered around, I have finally found the book that I have been wanting to find,
in it songs included are: Freedom (Paul McCartney), Let it Be (Beatles), What a Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong), and a whole lot more!
I hope you enjoy the new recording of We Are The World that I am working on right now...
I am off to record!

Piano Matt! plays piano at Nemicolan Resort

^^I enjoyed playing during Summer Vacation at the Nemicolan Resort.
I had fun....^^

PIANO MATT!

Today, February 14th, is my first day with this new blog, and I hope to start off the first post of many to come with a bang. So I have decided to put aside past egos and reviews and start a new. Today is Valentine's Day, but due to the importance of the day and being the kick-off starter for this site, I think it is not necessary to jump the gun so quick. That said, I am taking this first post to introduce myself, and perhaps give you a better mind for what is to come. Tomorrow is President's Day and I have gotten a few requests to play "Hail to the chief" and "1812 Overture". After reviewing the two I think although "Hail to the chief" is an extremely 'patriotic' song, I feel as though "1812 Overture" has a much better sound and adventure. For the moment I remain...
